GLASS AND GLAZING
FOR HISTORIC SETTINGS

Barley Studio supply and repair materials associated with historic glazing

Barley Studio create and restore leaded lights for ecclesiastical, commercial and domestic settings. We also create and restore rooflights, laylights and fanlights. For the metalwork associated with glazing, we repair, replicate and produce support structures, ferramenta, casement frames, vents and hoppers.

For plain glazing of historic buildings (ecclesiastical or secular) Barley Studio offer the ‘Barley Bent’ range of clear or slightly tinted glasses matching the original period. Our glasses are recognised and specified by conservation architects and local council conservation officers, and have been used by Historic Royal Palaces and the National Trust. We also supply clear and coloured glass suitable for Victorian sash windows and doors in a wide range of colours, available in full sheets or cut to size and shape.
