Opening vents: hoppers and casement frames

Barley Studio repair, replicate and design new metal opening vents (inward opening hoppers and side opening casements) to your individual requirements.

We repair and refurbish existing hoppers and casements, retaining original fixings where possible. We offer a wide range of replica historic casement furniture, including period style handles and stays.

We manufacture hoppers and casements in steel or stainless steel, powder coated for durability. Our new inward opening hoppers are available with either spring latch closers or patent Preston openers. Spring latch closers are ideal for low level windows, where the latch is easily accessible. Preston openers have cords attached for easy operation at any height, and offer the advantage of variable opening positions.

We do not offer repair of ‘Crittall’ type windows.
