Abstract and Sculptural Work by Helen Whittaker

Helen’s artwork uses abstraction to create movement, often underpinned by timeless geometric principles. The tangible nature of sculpture allows Helen to extend her artwork into three dimensions, creating new opportunities to engage and connect with the viewer. Helen’s desire to extend the artwork from stained glass to sculpture was developed during her studies at the University of Sunderland, which has the largest glass and ceramics department in Europe.
