Symbolic and Geometric Work by Helen Whittaker

Helen’s symbolic artwork uses representational elements to create narrative and meaning, engaging the viewer with new ways of telling traditional or contemporary stories through bold and striking imagery. Helen’s appreciation of symbolism and geometry was inspired by her tutor, the celebrated Professor Keith Critchlow, founder of the Department of Visual, Islamic and Traditional Arts at the Prince of Wales’ School of Architecture.
