Barley Studio have recently completed the restoration and reinstallation of the fine WWI memorial West window at St Matthew’s Church in Hull, made by the Hardman Company of Birmingham in 1922. The window had previously suffered badly from vandal damage, and its careful restoration showcases the skills of Barley Studio’s conservators, artists and craftspeople. It has been a privilege to work on this project for new owners Giroscope, supported by the War Memorials Trust and the The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass.
